Recently I have been having to make a few tough decisions, and they all involve things that I love, so that makes it even harder to decide! When I auditioned for the musical, Urinetown, I was planning on doing both track and the musical at the same time, but after the first couple of weeks, after track started, I realized it was going to be harder than I thought. I had only gone to one practice in about 1 1/2 weeks, and until the musical was over, I would only be able to go one a week. On top of that, I have Spring Golf and Driver’s Ed after the musical, which would make it even harder! So I decided a couple weeks ago that I would not do track, and just focus on the musical┬ábecause I didn’t want to put stress on both our track coaches and our drama teacher. I also want to be an actor, later on, so the musical is my first priority, which then knocks track down to 4th┬ábecause Spring Golf and Driver’s Ed come before that. So I am no longer do track, which is hard for me, because I love the sport, but I think this was the right decision because it took stress off of myself and is allowing me to focus on the musical.

My other tough decision right now it deciding on my classes for next year. I am trying to decide between Woodworking ll & CAD and Choir. I want to go into choir, because I love to sing and want to improve, but I also want to go into Woodworking ll & CAD for a couple of reasons. The class that I am in right now is the first year woodworking and CAD class, and in the second year class (Woodworking ll & CAD), they use everything we learned this year, but they don’t go back over it. I feel like if I waited a few years to take it, I wouldn’t remember anything I took this year, so it would be harder and not as much fun. But I also want to take choir to become better at singing. I have been thinking about this decision for about 2 weeks now, and I till can’t make a decision! I have to make a decision by next Tuesday though, so I’ll make sure to choose what I feel is right. Another choice I have to make regarding classes is my Foreign Language. I only have Spanish and German to choose from, so there’s not as much stress on that one. I’ll let you guys know when I choose!
