Beat the Bridge to Beat Diabetes in Seattle is coming up fast and I am SO excited! My Dad has been fundraising in his classroom and we have our JDRF team page set up, so please feel free to donate! Donate to my name, though. My mom and I compete to see who can raise more. 🙂

If you don’t know what Beat the Bridge is, it is a run/walk fundraiser that JDRF puts on each year to raise money for Type 1 Diabetes. They hold it at the University of Washington-Seattle Campus, which is where I want to go to college, so I always enjoy it. We also always go out for doughnuts in the morning and lunch and shopping afterward, which is ironic because a doughnut is not the best choice when you’re a diabetic. It’s always a great day!

I hope that you will all donate and that I can count on you to bring awareness to Type 1 Diabetes to help us turn Type 1, into Type None!
