As you know, one of the main responsibilities as a Beat the Bridge Ambassador is promoting the Beat the Bridge event. So to promote, the other 3 ambassadors and I met in Seattle at the King 5 building (right across from Safeco Field) to film a 30-second commercial to promote Beat the Bridge. We filmed it on the roof of the building (so cool!) with Steve Burnin from King 5. It was so awesome! They had a professional cameraman and camera and a boom mic. They even had a director’s cut board that said Beat the Bridge on it, which was one of the best parts. It was so cool and I quite honestly felt like a movie star 🙂 I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time. But the most amazing thing is the opportunity this provided to spread the word about Beat the Bridge and Type 1. To be able to be a part of something like a commercial that millions of people will watch is an amazing thing to be a part of. I hope that it will inspire everyone who sees it to become a part of Beat the Bridge in some way or another. I hope that you will too. Here’s the link to my team page. I will post the video as soon as I get it so you can see it and pictures as soon as I can get a better wifi connection. 🙂
